Covid-19 Update
The leadership of T.R.E.E., Inc. continues to evaluate the feasibility of conducting tree planting projects in the Tampa Bay area. A small planting of ten people took place at the Camp Bayou Nature Reserve on June 13th that was done while maintaining social distancing guidelines advocated by the CDC. With the recent surge in Covid-19 cases in Florida, the status of future planting projects remains uncertain.
COVID-19
Due to the mandated stay-at-home order from Governor DeSantis, T.R.E.E. Inc. has made the painful decision to put all of its planned events on hold until further notice. We plan to work with local community organizations to reschedule all plantings once the restrictions surrounding this pandemic have eased. For the moment, however, we must prioritize the safety of our members and community by limiting all in-person social interactions – including our events.
